CLAY RESEARCH PRACTICE


A studio-based program of experimentation with clay, focused on process and artistic research.
The practice is guided by the studio and the instructor, through a continuous flow of propositions, materials, and directions developed through the studio’s artistic practice.

Studio Directions (indicative practice)
An example of the program’s research direction is the exploration of fracture and reconstruction in clay — the reuse of materials and working with broken forms.
 
Structure
· 2 sessions per month
· fee: €80 / month (paid monthly in advance)
· ongoing participation
· evolving artistic process

 
Character
· experimentation with clay and materials
· emphasis on process over final object
· studio-led guided practice
· use of references as research tools rather than models

 
Important Note

The program does not function as an open studio or a casual ceramics class, but as a guided artistic practice within the studio, with a clear research-oriented focus.
